About This Route
La Plagne strings eleven villages across a broad Tarentaise mountainside, with 225 km of pistes of its own and the rest of Paradiski a cable-car ride away. The skiing runs from Montchavin at 1,250 m up to 3,250 m on the Bellecôte glacier — a vertical range of 2,000 m taking in gentle tree-lined village runs, wide sunny cruisers and the north-facing steeps off the glacier. There is even an Olympic bobsleigh track, a legacy of the 1992 Albertville Games.
This 3D printed model captures the whole of La Plagne in relief: snow-white terrain with the complete run network traced in copper and the resort name engraved beneath. For the family that returns to the same village every February, or a friend still talking about their week there, it is a keepsake of a mountain they know by heart.
