About This Route

Challenge Roth is the greatest show in long-distance triathlon: 3,400 athletes, 650 relay teams and 300,000 spectators packed into Bavarian villages for one Sunday in July. The bike course is its beating heart — two laps through the Franconian countryside, and the wall of noise at Solarer Berg, where the crowd parts like a Tour de France col as you climb through a tunnel of people.
