About This Route
Ironman Wales is the race triathletes talk about in a different tone. Tenby's dawn swim in North Beach's swell, and then the bike: 112 miles of Pembrokeshire that never lie flat, over 2,400 metres of climbing through Angle, Narberth and the savage ramps of Wiseman's Bridge and Heartbreak Hill at Saundersfoot, where the crowds turn a Welsh hill into Alpe d'Huez.
Repeatedly voted one of the best Ironman races on Earth by the athletes themselves, it's a finisher's badge like few others. Our 3D printed terrain model captures the whole peninsula — coast, cliffs and every climb of the bike course traced in relief.
