About This Route
Sa Calobra is the ride every cyclist who visits Mallorca has to make: a dead-end descent to the sea down one of the most spectacular roads ever engineered, followed by the only way out — back up. The climb to the Coll dels Reis is 9.4 km at 7%, twisting through 26 hairpins including the famous 270-degree loop where the road passes under itself at the 'tie knot'.
Carved through the Tramuntana's limestone in 1932, the road is a sculpture in its own right — and it turns into an astonishing 3D printed terrain model, the ribbon of tarmac snaking down the gorge to the cove, every switchback in relief.
A perfect memento of a Mallorca training camp or the 312. Printed in the UK, customised with your text, free UK shipping — or upload your own GPX from the day.
