About This Route

Twenty-one numbered hairpins, 13.8 kilometres, 1,100 metres of climbing at 8.1% — Alpe d'Huez is the most famous ascent in cycling. From the valley floor at Bourg d'Oisans the road stacks bend upon bend up the mountainside, each corner carrying the name of a Tour de France stage winner, from Fausto Coppi in 1952 onwards.

If you've ridden it — in the Marmotte, on a summer pilgrimage, or chasing a PB up 'Dutch Corner' — you know why it's special. Our 3D printed terrain model makes the geometry physical: the entire staircase of switchbacks rendered in relief, with the road line traced to the summit at 1,860 m.

Printed in the UK, customised with your name and time, free UK shipping. Upload your own GPX to combine the Alpe with the rest of your ride.
